Abstract :
Three discrete CRPWM schemes, Delta -modulation in a stationary frame, Delta -modulation in a synchronous frame, and voltage vector synthesis PWM, are studied with respect to bus utilization. The effects of switching frequency and the influence of a flux regulator are also discussed. The analysis is based primarily on simulation, and experimental results from a digital signal processor (DSP)-based drive are used to verify the simulation results.<>
