Abstract :
Polymeric optical waveguides and devices have applications in optical sensors and communication systems. A summary of various fabrication methodologies and material characteristics is outlined, and guided wave devices based on polymeric materials are reviewed. Applications of the electron beam direct write process are also discussed.
