Abstract
The focus of this paper lies on structuring and formalization of e-learning content and subsequent on the way, how to get an individualized learning path out of a given set of content assets. The aim for formalization is to offer a properly structured framework for the integration of diactics. To do so, the paper introduces a new data structure for managing electronic content for e-learning purposes, the so-called content graph. On the base of this formalism the basic steps of an algorithm are discussed, which allows a step-by-step deriving of an individual learn path. Content graph and basic algorithm together make it possible to ask precise questions about the integration of didactical aspects. On this level, the paper does not intend to solve didactical problems, but it tries to specify the problems and makes them easier to handle by cutting the entire "didactics"-discussion into smaller, well defined, and modular questions.
