Abstract
With the increase in ever demanding requirements of telecommunications, especially, wireless and mobile communications, the simultaneous access to services of various mobile service providers is very important. The provision of such simultaneous access to services can be made possible by handling multiple subscriber identity modules (SIM) at a time. In this paper, we have proposed a framework to introduce such provisions in different system software of a cellular mobile phone (CMP). The framework is designed after a thorough investigation of two widely adopted system software of CMPs and is adaptable for others, as well. The framework may very conveniently be integrated with different mobile environments. The proposed framework presented in this paper may prove itself a worth mentioning contribution towards the research in the field of wireless and mobile communications.
