Abstract :
As complement of protocol conformance testing, protocol interoperability testing is often used to check whether two or more protocol implementations can interact with each other to perform a certain task. Interoperability test sequence generation is an important issue in this field. During interoperability testing, a minimal number of test sequences are expected to reduce the size of system state space and obtain more practical test case. This paper focuses on the interoperability test sequences generation optimization to avoid the well- known state space explosion problem. Compare with the conventional methods, our method can produce more effective test sequences in terms of both test size and coverage.
