Abstract
The immobilization of glucose oxidase by sol-gel method was performed in SiO2 matrices obtained from different precursors (tetraethylorthosilicate or sodium silicate solution). The enzymatic system was glucose oxidase-peroxidase and the chromogens were p-hidroxybenzensulphonate and 4-aminoantipyrine. An one step procedure was proposed which simplifies the experiments and improve the homogeneity of the biomaterial
