Abstract :
Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system optimum detection (MOD) based on the maximum likelihood sequence estimate (MLSE) rule is proposed in this paper. The MIMO detections based on binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO) algorithm are discussed, followed by a detailed process on how to apply the MIMO BPSO detection (MBPSOD) on a MIMO system. Simulations show that the increase of data rates and the improvement of BER performance are significant by using the MBPSOD
