Abstract :
Recent years have witnessed the explosions of severe virus attacks to the computer networks for E-commerce. In light of this, researches on modeling virus propagation have drawn an increasing amount of interests in the literature. However, the group based infection mechanism of computer viruses remains unknown. To meet this challenge, in this paper, we propose a Point-to-Group (P2G) infection mode to gain insights of virus propagation in networks with information sharing groups. An E-type infection function has also been presented to characterize the P2G mode. Finally, our simulation results show that the E-type infection function indeed shows superior performances to that of the traditional I-type infection function in modeling the P2G virus infection mechanism.
