Abstract :
Glass fiber has been developed from decorative art in ancient times to modern use as battery separator raw material. The bulk glass and its conversion into nonwovens for use in the battery industry are discussed both physically and chemically. A noteworthy development in microglass fiber dimension is discussed here for the purpose of familiarizing potential users with new ranges of performance.
