Abstract :
A novel parameter adaptive estimation method based on improved ellipse fitting model is proposed to calibrate the interference error by using GPS heading reference. A process is developed with estimating accurate parameters base on LMS adaptive algorithm. The experimental results show that compensation result of this method is better. It enables the digital magnetic compass realize automatic error compensation.
