Abstract :
Delay-constrained multipoint communication (DCMC) in QoS routing is the problem of path construction for multi-source communication groups for the efficiency of group communication within the delay-bound of the application. Proposed models to date searched solely a subdomain of the solution space in core-based architecture. In this paper, we describe a DCMC framework spanning the comprehensive range of solutions for improved results and propose SPAN, a distributed, asymmetric model within the described framework. Our simulation results indicate the considerably high cost-performance of SPAN compared to its counterparts in the literature, validating the significance of our earlier findings leading to the described range of solutions.
