Abstract :
In this paper, frequency domain method is employed to model GPS positioning noise sources. This model shows clearly combination of additional information with GPS positioning data (such as its velocity) is useful and to make best use of position information in navigation using GPS. The experiment results are presented demonstrating the model in fusing low cost GPS positioning information with its velocity data. The experiments show that frequency domain method provide an effective way respect to time domain method and can reduce total RMS error to less than 0.52 m
