Abstract :
Due to the defects of bearings-only (BO) method which has long convergence time and large location errors, a new passive tracking method is put forward, which uses bearings and frequency information. The linearized forms of state propagation equation, state transfer matrix and measurement Jacobi matrix are deducted in two-body movement. Performance is validated through simulated data from STK6.0. Simulation indicates that this method has higher accuracy and shorter convergence time than bearings-only method even when the initial vector error is relatively large
