Abstract
The discrete wavelet transform is applied as a joint time/space analysis tool for body surface potential maps. The results of the joint time/space analysis are compared with previous work done by using integral maps. The wavelet transform revealed the close relation between temporal and spatial aspects of cardiac signals. The results of the authors´ work suggest that the multiresolution signal decomposition via wavelet transforms provides a new and useful approach to evaluate body surface potential maps
