Abstract
Deals with the relation between the physiological diel vertical-migration strategy of the Japanese eel (A nguilla japonica) and its transportation strategy which is related to the transfer from North Equatorial Current to the Kuroshio Current. The author investigates the diel vertical migration (DVM) of leptocephalus larvae through the transportation simulation with the genetic algorithm for understanding the various DVM strategies
