Abstract :
The various methods of spectral and harmonic estimation of time series which obtains a spectral simulation of nonlinear microwave devices (oscillators and amplifiers) are investigated. The most appropriate are found to be the covariance and Prony methods respectively. Nevertheless some actions to increase the procedure robustness for low-noise signals are needed. Furthermore, the modification of known Jenkins-Traub and Jenkins algorithms is necessary also to enlarge a highest order of factorizing polynomials. The some examples of spectral technique usage are given.
