Abstract
A advanced method of locking process analysis for microwave frequency-hopping synthesizer is introduced based on the existing event-driven model. The improved model of a PLL with CP-PFD and passive 3rd order LF is presented and simulated in Matlab. A example shows that the model is accurate, through comparing the simulation in Matlab and the result in official design software.
