A new routing strategy is proposed to improve the transportation efficiency. Instead of using the routing strategy for shortest path and efficient path, we give a generalized routing algorithm to find the so-called optimal path, which considers the modified betweenness measure based on random-walk. It can effectively balance the traffic loads between central nodes and other noncentral nodes. Simulation results indicate that compared with the classic routing strategy, the new strategy can improve the network capability in processing traffic several times while does not increase path length too much.
