Notice of Retraction

In this paper, we propose a new conjugate gradient method for solving unconstrained optimization problems on the basic of the LS method. Under the strong Wolfe-Powell line search, the global convergence property of the given method is discussed. The numerical results show that this method is promising for the given test problems from.
