  • Abstract
    A quasioptical approach using Gaussian beams can be applied to enumerate propagation aspects at millimetre and submillimetre wave bands. The paper introduces results obtained by a measurement campaign focused on Gaussian beam aspects. Based on measured statistics, simulations by using a quasioptical approach were introduced. Results from simulation of system within indoor environment were compared to those obtained by classical ray-tracing method and specific features of both approaches were revealed.
