Abstract :
The simple analytical formulas for the calculation of frequency dependences of effective dielectric permittivity in multiconductor coupled microstrip lines are presented. These formulas have no frequency restrictions and give high calculation accuracy. On the basis of microstrip dispersion formulas, the processes of propagation of Gaussian pulses along single and coupled microstrip lines are investigated. The results of calculations of pulse dispersion distortion are presented and compared with known data, showing good agreement.
