Abstract
This paper deals with problem of miniaturization of sensors for electrochemical analysis of various substances in aqueous solutions. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes based working electrode of electrochemical sensors has been fabricated as carbon nanotubes based nanocomposite sprayed on previously prepared thick-film substrate. Fabricated electrodes were used for electrochemical analysis of lead ions in acetate buffer solution using differential pulse voltammetry and compared with standard glassy carbon electrode and commercial carbon nanotubes based electrochemical sensor. The first results obtained by electrochemical analysis of spray-coated electrodes shown good response to lead ions. Fabricated electrode has better sensitivity than commercial electrode and almost two times better sensitivity than standard glassy carbon electrode.
