  • Abstract
    A nesting combination of the non-overlapping domain decomposition and the algebraic multigrid method is developed in this paper for solving eddy current problems. The iterations between sub-domains in the domain decomposition method can be decreased greatly due to the application of the algebraic multigrid method. The finite element method with edge element is used for the subdomain computation. The harmonic fields in railgun are solved using this method, And the results show its efficiency and accuracy compared with ANSYS
