Abstract
We report a simple technique to generate wavelength tunable picosecond pulses at various repetition rates. We inject the control signal of data 1100 at 40 Gbps into a semiconductor fiber ring laser, adjust a tunable filter and pulse round-trip time to implement an optical pulse source capable of continuous wavelength tuning at various repetition-rates
