After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

To promote the technology development of the security in coal mine areas, an intelligent belt breakage protector was introduced, and a method of the prediction of belt breakage based on fuzzy neural network was presented in the paper. This algorithm combinates the fuzzy theory and neural network. Fuzzy theory was applied in data pre-processing, and neural network was applied in prediction. The method can remarkably enhance the accuracy and credibility of prediction of the ambiguity, relevance and non-linear system. Running results show that system design is feasible, with a certain amount of practicality to meet the application requirements. It has wide application prospects.
