  • Abstract
There is a globally increasing issue that groundwater contamination by nitrogenous fertilizer in the contemporary world, however as an important water, groundwater always serves, especially in rural region. To address this problem, biological nitrification and denitrification course has been pervalently used for removal of nitrogenous pollutants from polluted groundwater. The dissolved oxygen (DO) controller and external carbon controller were demonstrate in this paper, to improve nitrogenous pollutants removal efficiency. The nitrogenous pollutants removal efficiency process of the control strategies have been developed and evaluated by simulation. The data which the DO controller could save presented about 15%-20% energy consumption compared to conventional constant DO control. The effluent nitrate concentration could be declined by the external carbon controller. These controllers, to eliminate nitrogenous pollutants, will be applied in the control and management of the decentralization treatment plants.
