Abstract :
We discuss the wavelength- and polarization-indepandent operation of a DxPSK receiver using a single interferomenter composed of a 3times3 coupler. The transmission of DxPSK/ADPSK signals is demonstrated with near quantum-limited sensitivity and high spectral efficiency.
