Abstract
This paper deals with a model predictive control of permanent magnet synchronous motors applied to electrical antiskid braking system. A direct torque controller is proposed instead of two cascaded model predictive controllers for torque control and current control respectively. The nonlinearities due to the coupling terms with the speed and the current are taken into account into the controller derivation. The detailed design process of the controller is described and also gives some practical hints for implementation. The simulation and experimental results are shown.
