Abstract :
In Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) system, Carrier Aggregation (CA) is employed to improve the capacity of the cell. However, with the increase in carriers, the number of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) blind decoding (BD) increases significantly, which increases the User Equipment (UE) complexity. To solve this problem, a novel blind decoding method is proposed in this paper to reduce the total number of blind decoding. Calculation and simulation reveal that this scheme can reduce the number of PDCCH blind decoding significantly.
