Abstract
The main goal of this publication is to position within the current international framework, development and manufacture of sensors IFOG (Interfometric Fiber Optic Gyroscope) type executed in CIOp. IFOGs are designed and intended for using as part of sub-systems for navigation, guidance and control of aerospace vehicles such as injectors or satellite platforms. Several international suppliers of instruments of the same kind are considered in order to make a comparative analysis. Specific parameters are used to make comparisons of performance tools such as ARW (Angle Random Walk) and “Bias Instability” as defined in [1] and [2] as well as the linear range of the instrument under a predefined percentage error (ε) and similar bandwidth. Finally, next goals in development and manufacture of sensors IFOG are shown. In both search and realization of improvements, as well as compliance and generation of a quality management system and a production system in line with current and future demands.
