  • Abstract
    An artificial magnetic material composed of step impedance resonators(SIRs) is proposed. Using the smallness and coupling among the resonators, the length of the magnetic element is shortened to 0.1 lambda . Then, the magnetic material exhibits mueff=4.% at 0.95fr. The element is applied to a high impedance wall.
