  • Abstract
    Two subjective methods, scale method and z-score method, were conducted for evaluating the image quality of four glossy commercial ink-jet papers. For pair comparison, the results of scale method and z-score method were similar. For categorical judgment, the image quality difference of ink-jet paper could be calculated by z-score method. Therefore, the z-score method was more suitable for practice.
