Abstract :
The paper presents experimental results of measuring the microwave antenna parameters using the holographic near-field method to validate theory. The field was measured by two different probes. Comparison of calculated far-field patterns with measured Ones are presented. Experimental results and numerical simulations are given to validate the theoretical analysis of random errors, too. It is shown that assumptions /4/ and expressions for errors /5/ need not hold (particularly for the holographic method).
