  • Abstract
In order to study the impact of TEM horn antenna´s structural parameters on radiated pulse waveform, this paper uses the electromagnetic simulation software FEKO based on the method of moments (MOM) to give an analysis of TEM horn antenna. The results suggest that: matching loads at the aperture plane of the TEM horn antenna can improve the waveform of radiated pulse; peak time will delay and peak electric field strength value will be smaller when feed line´s length is longer than one wavelength; a pair of optimal antenna structure angles exists which will lead to biggest radiated electric field strength value after length of the triangle plates has settled. And this pair of optimal antenna structure angles is to be smaller with length of the triangle plates becoming longer.
