Abstract :
In this paper, the first reported look-up non linear model of a Step Recovery Diode is described. The model uses a more elaborate parasitic network and contains more non linear elements than models previously described. Good agreement is obtained between the measured and modeled results in both the small signal and time domain. Finally, a new bi-phase wavelet generator is described whose output consists of two cycles of 2.4 GHz carrier whose polarity is controlled by the positive and negative transitions of a bipolar data source.
