Abstract :
The problem of design and implementation of an intelligent controller is dealt with. An approach based on neural networks, artificial intelligence, and conventional methods is proposed. The step-by-step design procedure is given. It is shown that this approach is well-suited for implementation on neural networks, which offer a definite speed advantage. Potential applications of the design methodology are discussed
