Abstract :
Microwave high pass filters are typically designed with the lengths of the series capacitive branches regarded as undesirable parasitics. It is shown that it is more reasonable to incorporate these lengths in the original designs. Several equivalences are presented which facilitate the practical realization of the filters, particularly in the form of suspended substrate stripline.
