Abstract :
This paper gives the performance results of a high power 4 channel multiplexer operating at 12GHz, combining WARC channels 22, 24, 26 and 28 (n +2 spacing) onto a common antenna feed. The aim of the work was to produce a suitable output filter system for use in a TVBS satellite. An optimum solution is demonstrated practically, which minimises channel losses (0.53 dB at C.F) while maintaining channel rejection requirements, and allowing easy transfer of generated heat to a plane baseplate through the planar layout.
