Abstract
An estimation of a level of the pollution of urban territory with the use of methods of ecological cartography is made for the first time. One of the largest sources of pollution of air, pool and ground by various gases, liquid and firm waste are the quarters of individual buildings. From these alone come the 19.2 thousand tons per one year of carbon dioxide. Therefore by rational accommodation of quarters per district and individual houses, the pollution can possibly be controlled to improve the ecological conditions of an environment in Ulaanbaatar.
