Abstract :
We report efficient microwave arbitrary waveform generation by using an open-loop, reflective geometry Fourier transform pulse shaper via dispersively-stretched optical pulse shaping. Application of this technique to ultra-wide bandwidth radio frequency (RF) communication is also discussed.
