Abstract :
Compared to multi-pulse converter based SSSC, D FACTS features obvious advantage. System response for step change of D-FACTS controllers´ output is studied in the paper. It shows that the transient response is the function of transmission line X/R ration and switch-in time of D-FACTS controller. With suitable switch-in sequence control, zero transience could be achieved.
