  • Abstract
In order to solve the FDTD modeling problem which appears in numerical computation of single ogive about electromagnetic scattering characteristic with the method of Finite Difference Time Domain - FDTD, the FDTD modeling of single ogive is designed, which is based on the analytic function. Its design concept is to determine the relations between an arbitrary point in space and a single ogive by using the analytic function given by the surface equation of the single ogive. Yee cell consists of eight apexes. The geometry positional relations between the Yee cell and single ogive can be determined according to position relation between the apexes and single ogive. The geometry positional relations between the Yee cell and single ogive can be divided into three cases: (1) If eight apexes locate outside single ogive, the Yee cell locates outside the single ogive; (2) If some of the eight apexes locate outside, the Yee cell is on the boundary of the single ogive; (3) If none of the eight apexes locates outside, the Yee cell locates inside. In this paper, the code of the single Ogive FDTD modeling is completed by C++ language. Firstly, the subroutine of the position relation between a point and a single ogive is completed. The subroutine of the position relations between a Yee cell and a single ogive is completed through calling the subroutine of the position relation between a point and a single ogive. Finally, the code of FDTD modeling of single ogive is completed. The curve, which shows the variation of the model volume of a single ogive with the cell´s length, is given.
