Abstract :
This paper mainly studied the use of computer-aided techniques to calculate the volume of liver tumor. CT images of liver tumor were firstly processed by the optimized non-sampling Contourlet Transform method proposed in this paper for image enhancement. The enhanced CT images of liver tumors were then segmented by the Chan-Vese model. Finally, the cumulative sum method was used to compute the volume of liver tumor. The experimental result shows the method of liver tumor computation used in this paper achieve lower error rate than the manual computation method and the VTK method.
