Abstract :
New and potential Internet users are introduced to useful network tools and resources. The focus is on how the Internet continues to revitalize professional communications. Emphasis is on clearing access hurdles, the advantages of specialized indexing services, and the use of applications software that fosters user-friendly interactive searching and expeditions file transfers. Underscored are basic search and retrieval strategies, alternative routes to similar information, techniques for successfully applying the full-range of TCP/IP protocols, and timesaving navigational shortcuts
