Abstract
The communication channels inside the university campus are changing due to the implementation of newly developed electronic technologies. The electronic communication technology which provides the function to link computers as a network enables users to exchange electronic mail, log in to remote computers, and transfer files. Preliminary results from a network user survey at the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan are presented.
