  • Abstract
In this paper, several aspects of multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) communication system based on Tomlinson Harashima precoding (THP) are investigated under frequency selective scenario. First, two types of broadband-extended versions of THP MU-MIMO based on single carrier time-domain processing are described, namely, the simple adaptation of conventional THP MU-MIMO to frequency selective environment, and the method with transmitter and receiver beamforming assuming perfect channel state information (CSI) in both sides. Then theoretical discussions and computer simulations are carried out, and some features of THP under frequency selective fading are shown together with its problems.
