Abstract
Based on multiple gain programming PID control algorithm, a new heading controller for saving the energy is designed to reduce drain on manpower and material resources, so as to adapt to the current environment about energy conservation and emission reduction. By using matlab/simulink software , the results are showed that the controller has a very good control effect and has been achieved the control index that rudder have smooth transition process and fewer cyclic number, more achieving the effect of energy conservation.
