Abstract
This paper presents a novel technique for miniaturization of left-handed resonator based on four grounded spirals. The modified resonators, that consist of spirals with different line widths are designed, fabricated and compared with original ones. Minimal resonator size of lambdag/22 by lambdag/22 is achieved with -2.14 dB insertion loss and unloaded Q-factor of 65.5.
