Abstract
A generalized controller for induction motor drive systems is proposed based on modern control theory. It gives a unified viewpoint for the topologies of all vector controllers proposed until now. It includes almost all of the existing controllers, and its connections with the conventional vector controllers are explored. A systematic way to enhance the robustness property of the vector control system is also pointed out
