  • Abstract
    In this paper, we consider the sensor fault detection and isolation problem for the nonlinear dynamic systems that can be represented in the form of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. We propose an extension of the step-by-step high order sliding mode observers to T-S fuzzy models. The finite time estimation of sensor faults is obtained using the super-twisting algorithm. The proposed algorithm is tested on an hydraulic system affected by sensor faults.
